CHRISTIAN HARTFIELD


PRINCIPAL

Christian joined Silver Thomas Hanley in 2003 and has been a practicing architect for 20 years. Christian is an integral member and a Principal of the practice with significant experience in the design, documentation and administration of a wide variety of projects. As a Senior Health Planner and Architect, he offers a blend of design leadership, project delivery and meaningful engagement for our clients. His interest in technology and quality assurance maintains the practice at the forefront of design and innovation.

 

With close client relationships on the projects he is responsible for, Christian acts with meticulous diligence to ensure the best possible outcomes and client satisfaction. His excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key to the successful delivery of the many projects he has been involved with. From initial briefing and design-based user groups, to managing documentation teams and liaising with project managers and builders on site, Christian provides both expertise and outstanding attention to detail. Additionally, Christian has extensive experience as Superintendents Representative on complex healthcare and mental health projects.

Christian’s recent projects include the expansion of Joondalup Private Hospital, the Joondalup Health Campus Mental Health, Hollywood Private Hospital Mental Health and Royal Perth Hospital Mental Health Unit, as well as consulting on mental health planning for North Metropolitan Health Service, East Metropolitan Health Service and South Metropolitan Health Service. He has successfully completed multiple complex projects for both the state and private service providers.
