The team at Silver Thomas Hanley have been working hard to deliver Coolibah Care, Karri House. The expansion was officially opened by the Hon Andrew Hastie MP, Assistant Minister of Defence on the 10th of September, A special thanks to local Noongar leader, Jonathan Ford, for conducting the smoking ceremony and a very moving Welcome to Country.

The expansion amalgamated the site to provide a defined point of arrival to the facility. This not only links the already existing services, but enhances passive security and wayfinding whilst also providing space for an array of new amenities and services including:

Reception
Secure staff parking
Commercial Kitchen
An array of courtyards and outdoor retreat spaces
Dining, Activity and Lounge spaces
The relocation of the commercial kitchens provides clear and easy back-of-house access to the services without disrupting residents.
The refurbishment of numerous lounges, activity rooms, dining areas, serveries, tea preparation areas and nurse stations provide a more efficient, open, light and bright living and workspaces for the residents and staff alike.
