As an Architectural Director/Co-Owner of Silver Thomas Hanley, Tony leads the master planning, health planning and design teams. Tony has significant experience leading project teams and managing stakeholder and user group consultation. His excellent communication skills ensure a consistent approach and methodology across the project team and the delivery of exceptional outcomes. Tony specialises in integrating functional and efficient planning outcomes into master planning and design concepts. He has a solutions-focused mindset and consistently pushes his team to achieve the best possible design outcomes.

 

Offering extensive experience in large-scale, complex and highly serviced projects, Tony recently led the successful delivery of the new Grains Research Laboratory at Curtin University, as well as the new Sciences Laboratory Building at ECU University in Joondalup in which Tony was Project Director and Lead Laboratory Planner. Additionally, Tony led the planning and design teams for the Fiona Stanley Hospital campus, a $1.76 billion tertiary hospital that achieved practical completion in 2013.

Tony led the preparation of a new master plan for St John of God Subiaco Hospital; an adaptable master plan which will provide increased efficiency and functionality. Tony developed design concepts and currently leads project teams for the St John of God Subiaco Hospital Redevelopment. Responsible for a diverse project portfolio across the complete spectrum of health facility types, Tony has a hands-on approach ensuring that every project delivered by Silver Thomas Hanley illustrates the high quality of our designs.
